Flowers have been left at the scene where a pedestrian died close to Sittingbourne train station.
Police were called at around 11.30pm last night to reports of a collision involving a lorry, in St Michael’s Road.
Police and ambulance crews attended and a man was declared dead at the scene.
Flowers have since been left on railings nearby, with a message from a well-wisher.
Officers from the Serious Collison Investigation Unit would now like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the pedestrian or lorry beforehand.
