Police appeal for witnesses after biker dies in crash in Doddington, near Sittingbourne

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in the village of Doddington, near Sittingbourne.

A blue Audi Q5 and black motorbike were involved in an accident in The Street just before 7.20am.

It happened between the junctions of Church Hill and Chequers Hill.

The biker, a 32-year-old man from Sittingbourne, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police closed off the road while an investigation was carried out. It reopened at about 1.15pm - six hours after the accident happened.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting the reference 11-189.
