Police used sniffer dogs to track two men who have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after tools and a lawnmower were found on the roadside.

Officers from the Swale Local Policing Team were on patrol in Sheppey Way, Bobbing, in the early hours of today (Wednesday) when they came across the items, believed to have been stolen.

They used dogs to search the area and found two men, a 47-year-old man from Sittingbourne and a 38-year-old man from Gillingham, who were arrested and remain in police custody.

Enquiries are ongoing to find the owners of the garden items.
