There was a heavy police presence on the A2 Key Street roundabout near Sittingbourne yesterday.

Eyewitnesses report seeing police stopping the driver of a black Mercedes at around 3.15pm after it was driven the wrong way around the roundabout.

It is not known yet what happened but those who saw it say a young man was arrested.

No further details were available at this time.
