An accident at Bexon Lane, Bredgar, blocked the road in both directions.
The crash occurred near Bottom Pond Road at 4.15pm. A car and a van collided and then hit a telegraph pole which has toppled into the road.
Fortunately there were no serious injuries. The road remained blocked while the vehicles were recovered and the pole cut away.
