There are just eight days left to enter the Swale Business Awards.

If you have not put your firm’s name forward yet, why not pop along to a registration session to find out more about the event?

Held at the Shepherd Neame Brewery, Court Street, Faversham, from 6pm on Thursday, it is a chance for visitors to meet the judges and get advice about what to include in their entries.

For those that have already entered, it is an opportunity to bring along any supplementary material to support their entries and introduce themselves to the judges. There will also be a tour of the brewery on offer.

There are four categories: small business of the year; customer service and commitment; employer of the year; and Swale business of the year.

Firms must have been trading for 12 months on or before July 31, 2013. The 12 finalists will be invited to a dinner and awards presentation in October. The overall winner will receive a cash prize.

You can still complete entries online at www.swalebusinessawards.co.uk or by emailing forms to wesley.horan@ ksp-uk.com

Alternatively, fax your entry to 01795 426017 or post it to Swale Business Awards, IMM-UK, Woodstock House, Winch Road, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, Kent ME9 8AG.

The closing date is July 31.
