Police investigating £1K of criminal damage off Sittingbourne High Street

Police are investigating after a vandal caused £1,000 worth of damage to a number of shop windows in Roman Square, Sittingbourne.

The incident happened between 12.30am and 12.45am today.

Pieces of glass and spatters of blood were seen by people walking in the area this morning.

A police spokesman said: "The matter is under investigation and forensics have been taken from the scene.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
