Fed-up Sittingbourne boss Matt Wyatt could lose another player to Whitstable.

Goalkeeper Adam Molloy is the latest man wanted by former Brickies joint-managers Jim and Danny Ward at the Belmont.

Wyatt has already seen Ashley Ulph, Ryan Golding, Tom Loynes and Luke Girt link up with the Wards over the summer and could do without losing his goalkeeper, who may play his last game for the club when Brickies host Dorking in the FA Cup preliminary round on Saturday (3pm).

Wyatt revealed Town have made a seven-day approach for Molloy and can speak to him on Sunday.

The Brickies boss said: “I don’t blame Jim and Danny because if I were them, I’d be doing exactly the same. That’s life, but we’re getting a bit fed up with it now.

“The only thing is they worked with Molloy at Sittingbourne and know exactly what
he’s like.

“If they wanted him, they could have picked up the phone in pre-season rather than trying to unsettle him before an FA Cup game. I think Molloy would love to stay, but it depends on what Whitstable offer.

“Jim’s clever with what he says but I reckon they have probably double our budget. If they offer him £60 or £70 more than he’s on here, the reality is he might have to go. It’s frustrating, but there’s nothing I can do about it."
