Kent Kings completed their National Trophy campaign with a 49-41 home win over Leicester Lion Cubs on Monday night.

Kings went into the meeting bottom of the table and pointless but gave Central Park fans something to cheer about in their final match of the competition.

Ben Morley (12+2) top-scored, with skipper Simon Lambert (10+1), David Mason (9+2), Danny Ayres (7+1), Benji Compton (7) and Jason Garrad (5+2) completing Kent's tally.

Back in the National League, Kent need a point at King's Lynn Young Stars on Wednesday to guarantee a play-off place.

Central Park hosts the rearranged Great Britain under-19 Championship on Monday (7pm).

Sixteen riders are in action, including former Kent men Luke Harris and Jack Kingston.
