Investigation after man's body discovered at recreation ground off Grovehurst Avenue in Kemsley in Sittingbourne
A young man's body has been found at a popular Kemsley playing field this morning.
Kent Police were called to the recreation ground off Grovehurst Avenue at 9.15am.
Officers discovered the body of a man in his 30s, believed to be from the town.

He is understood to have been found hanged in woodland, which has been taped off.
One crew from Sittingbourne fire station was called to the scene to help police.
A police spokesman said the man's death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
No further details have been released about the circumstances in which he was found.

A nearby resident, who asked not to be named, said they were aware something was going on as they could see people wearing high-visibility jackets in the field.
They said officers then started knocking on people's doors to find out if anyone had seen or heard anything.
A large-scale response from the emergency services saw at least five police cars and a fire engine at the scene.

A Kent Police spokesman said officers were called at 9.15am to a "report of concern for welfare" in Kemsley.
She said: "On attendance, officers found the body of a deceased man in his 30s, believed to be from the town, in a public area in Grovehurst Road.
"The death is being treated as non-suspicious at this stage and a report will be duly prepared for the coroner."
