The John Aspinall Foundation Howletts & Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks
Discover two of the wildest days out in Kent at Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, and Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and Gardens, near Hythe - world leaders in endangered species conservation.
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park is home to the largest breeding herd of Black Rhino outside Africa as well as Siberian and Indian tigers, small cats, monkeys, Barbary lions and many more rare and endangered species, including the world's largest gorillarium.
Imagine being on safari in the heart of Kent... Port Lympne's new and constantly evolving African Experience takes you out into the wild, where animals such as giraffe, zebra, rhino, wildebeest and ostrich roam free as if on the plains of Africa.
Howletts Wild Animal Park is a 90 acre wild adventure in beautiful ancient parkland, home to the world's largest family group of gorillas in captivity and the UK's largest group of African Elephants - with four calves under the age of two!
There'll be surprises around every corner on your journey of discovery including glass fronted tiger enclosures, clouded leopards, Tapirs, Javan Langurs and many other rare and endangered species from around the world.
An exciting new feature at Howletts includes Walking With Lemurs - walk alongside and below our free roaming family of amazingly agile and lively Lemurs!
There are gorillas, monkeys, black rhino, elephants and many more wild and wonderful animals at both parks... fascinating and fun for all ages!
The Hop Farm

On site catering facilities offer a selection of refreshments, snacks and meals and picnic facilities are available to make the most of the weather.
Open all year round with over 30 special events including motor events, food and drink festivals, music events and themed entertainment over the school holidays, there is always a great excuse to come back time after time!
2008 will see some major new developments at the Hop Farm which will include Sympathetic upgrades to the magnificent Oast houses, whilst retaining all of their original features, will provide a brand new restaurant, family bar and bistro with an adult free area for kids!
