Fire in ground floor flat in East Cross, Tenterden

Fire crews were called to attend a blaze at a flat in Tenterden this morning.

Two fire engines attended the incident at East Cross in Tenterden at 11.47am today.

Firefighters tended to the small fire in the bathroom of a ground floor flat which is believed to have started in an extractor fan.

It was extinguished by fire crews using a hose reel jet.

There were no reported injuries.
