Man injured when vehicle hit electricity pylon in Biddenden Road, St Michael's, Tenterden

A man was treated for suspected electric shock after a vehicle struck an electricity pylon.

The incident happened this afternoon in Biddenden Road, St Michael's, Tenterden, and the land ambulance, air ambulance and Kent Fire and Rescue were in attendance.

It happened in a field off Biddenden Road and the air ambulance arrived at the scene just after 1.40pm, but was not required.

A man in his forties was treated at the scene by crews on the ground but declined hospital treatment.
