Air ambulance lifts motorcyclist to London hospital

Kent Air Ambulance has airlifted a motorcyclist with serious injuries to King's College Hospital, London.

An air ambulance crew treated the 51-year-old man at the scene, following a collision involving a car, in Eastern Esplanade, Cliftonville, at lunchtime yesterday.

He had suspected arm, head and neck injuries following the incident at 1.11pm.

Police officers and the South East Coast Ambulance service also attended.

A Kent Police spokesman said the motorcyclist’s injuries were not understood to be life-threatening.
