Car hits wall in Minster, Thanet

A driver is thought to have escaped serious injury after a car hit a stone wall in Thanet this evening.

The crash happened in Tothill Road, Minster, at about 7pm when a blue Renault collided with another car and struck a stone wall.

Emergency services were called including firefighters, but the driver was not trapped and suffered minor injuries.

A police spokesman said a car had collided with another vehicle and a wall.

The driver, a woman, was taken to a local hospital.

Residents living nearby report hearing a very loud crash before seeing the blue convertible sitting atop the damaged wall.
