Ambulance crews and Kent Police called to Ramsgate station

Police and ambulance crews were called to Ramsgate Railway Station this evening after concerns over a man's welfare.

People waiting on the platform became worried about a man's safety and called the emergency services.

Officers from both Kent Police and British Transport Police got to the station just after 6pm, along with two ambulances.

The man was detained under the Mental Health Act.
