Tributes to Sally Anne Dockerty who was killed in crash in Broadstairs

The family of a cyclist who died following a collision have paid tribute to a 'much-loved wife and mum.'

Sally Anne Dockerty was killed in the accident in Broadstairs on November 23.

In a statement her family said: ‘She was tragically and suddenly taken from us too soon.

"Sally was a loving wife to Reg; a darling mum to Nichola, Clare and Sarah; a loyal sister to Jane; aunty to Jason and Jody; a wonderful nana to William, Josie, Blue and Amber and mother-in-law to Rob and Shane.

"Sally was also a trusted friend to so many and a dedicated colleague to those at the Renal Unit at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital.

"Our family heart is broken, we love and miss you more than is possible to say.’

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened in Dane Court Road at 7.10pm on Wednesday 23 November.

Mrs Dockerty was riding a black and blue Boardman bicycle which was in collision with a blue Daihatsu Sirion.
