Caravan destroyed by fire at Way Hill, Minster-in-Thanet

A caravan has been destroyed by a fire.

The heat radiating from the flames also caused some damage to neighbouring pitches.

Three fire engines were called to the incident at Way Hill, Minster, in Thanet, at 9.13pm yesterday.

On arriving the crews found the domestic static caravan severely alight and tackled the blaze using a main jet and high-pressure hose reel jets.

Fire crews were at the scene for two hours.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said that there were no reports of any injuries and the cause was thought to have been accidental.
