Get Spooked at Dreamland this half term

This October half term sees the return of Dreamland's Get Spooked, with freaky fun for all the family.

Opening from Saturday, October 21 until Sunday, October 29, there'll be plenty going on including a fancy dress contest, pumpkin carving and meet the Gruffalo.

Children under one metre tall will receive a free wristband to go on rides with one paying adult.

Dreamland say it is an ideal alternative for spooky fun for children who are perhaps too young for Screamland.

Events include:

Saturday, October 21 -Dreamland’s first ever Conker Competition
Thursday, October 26 - Meet The Gruffalo – live character appearance
Saturday, October 28 - Halloween fancy dress contest and pumpkin carving

alongside daily activities:

  • 12pm and 3pm - Teddy and Betty Show: watch a performance as park mascots go on a spooky adventure
  • 1:30pm - Wizard Battle: take part in a Harry Potter-style challenge.
  • 2pm - Arty Party Crafts: visit the Haunted Snail hut for a range of fun craft activities
  • 4pm - Monster Mash Ball:play games, dance dances and get spooky with the Dreamland entertainers and DJ Chui
  • Slots available on the day for Nerf Wars: enter Crank Jack’s Lair, lock load and get Nerfed (£3 or included in ride wristband).
  • The Prop Store – Halloween-themed photo opportunity (entry included in ride wristband)
  • Spiders and Creepy Crawlies -Be amazed by creepy crawly bugs, slithery snakes, spiders and lizards in the Monstrous Menagerie at the Dreamland Ark.
  • Go on a Ghost Hunt - Can you find Gus the Ghost hidden around the park?
  • Are you Brave Enough Challenges -Collect a challenge card from the hub and complete the tasks to prove how brave you are
