Budding young artists can help South Thanet MP Laura Sandys celebrate the festive season.

Ms Sandys is asking local primary school children to help design her Christmas card this year.

She said: “We have real creative talent in Thanet so I’m asking all those budding Turners and Emins to send me their best Christmas scene.

“The winning entry will be made into a Christmas card that will be sent out all over the constituency, Westminster and beyond. I’ll also be inviting the winner to the House of Commons for lunch.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing all the entries and wish everyone lots of luck!”

The competition is open to any child at primary school in South Thanet.

Entries must be on a piece of folded A4 paper and have the entrant’s name, age, primary school and residential postal address (including postcode) clearly marked on the reverse.

Entries should be sent by Friday, November 15, to Laura Sandys MP (Christmas Card Competition), House of Commons, London. SW1A 0AA.
