Minster: Kent Fire and Rescue help horse after it becomes stuck in a ditch

Firefighters rescued a horse that became stuck in a water-filled dyke.

Crews arrived at around 8.45am yesterday to find the large male horse trapped in water up to its stomach in Watchester Lane in Minster, near Ramsgate.

They used water rescue equipment and animal rescue equipment to lift the stallion.

The horse was rescued from the ditch.
