kmfm has given one listener a great start to their weekend with £1,000 cash.

The radio station's Thousand Pound Friday competition gives listeners the chance to win the cash jackpot, which is then delivered to their home.

Louise Jane Hampton, from Margate, was one of those entrants.

She received the surprise call from Rob Wills on kmfm Drivetime to say she had won, £1,000.

Louise took a good few seconds for the news to sink in before declaring: "I never win anything."

The kmfm Street Team delivered Louise her money, which she says she plans to spend on a holiday in the sunshine.

kmfm's Thousand Pound Friday will return on 27 October, and there's more winning coming soon, including £1,000 to spend at Lenleys, Canterbury on kmfm Breakfast with Garry and Laura and Screamland tickets into Dreamland on Drivetime with Rob Wills from 9-13 October.
