Ramsgate: Air ambulance takes man to hospital with multiple injuries

The air ambulance has been seen landing in a seaside town amid reports on social media of a stabbing.

A man has been air lifted to a London hospital for treatment to multiple injuries.

Sussex Street in Ramsgate has been taped off by police, as well as Loughborough Court.

The air ambulance is said to have landed at Chatham House school.

Police were called to Sussex Street, Ramsgate, at 4.36pm following a report of a serious assault.

The area has been cordoned off to allow officers to investigate.

It has not yet been confirmed whether a weapon was used.

Inquiries are ongoing.
