Police release e-fit after attempted robbery in Northdown Road, Margate

Police are hunting two attackers who tried to push a man off his scooter in an attempted robbery.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was riding a scooter along Northdown Road in Cliftonville when he saw two men standing in front of him.

As soon as he slowed down near the side entrance of Northdown Park, the pair attempted to block his way and push him off the scooter.

He managed to get away and call the police.

Police have now issued an e-fit and are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at 4am on Saturday, November 14.

The first suspect is described as a white man aged between 20 and 25 years old, 6ft tall and of slim build.

He was clean shaven with a short brown hair and wore a smart brown three-quarter length coat.

The second suspect was described as a white man aged 20 to 25 years old, 6ft tall with a medium build. He had mousey brown short hair.
