Broadstairs: Man has 'cardiac arrest' in Westwood Cross McDonald's

A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering what is believed to be a cardiac arrest.

The incident happened in Westwood Cross McDonald's this morning.

Police were called to the restaurant in Margate Road, Broadstairs, by ambulance crews at 9am.

Police spokesman Nicola Foreman said: "Kent Police was called by SECAmb at 9am following concerns for the welfare of a man where it is believed he suffered a cardiac arrest.

"He has been taken to a local hospital for treatment."
