The victim was then forced to give him a silver bracelet while Healey shouted “give me what you’ve got”.

He was able to phone for help while Healey barricaded himself in the bathroom.

Officers arrested him outside of the flat and found him to be in possession of a knife.

The victim suffered cuts and bruising to his head and body and had two teeth knocked out.

On the first day of the trial on November 12, Healey pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years and three months in prison.

He started his sentence on Thursday.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kentra Gamble said: “This man was subjected to a horrific ordeal by someone he knew and trusted.

“I am glad this dangerous unpredictable man is now off the streets.”
