Ramsgate man treated at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford after stabbing

A man is still being treated in hospital today for stab wounds after an alleged assault in Ramsgate.

The 25-year-old suffered multiple injuries in the incident in Hardres Street yesterday morning.

Emergency services were called after police received reports that a man had been injured with a knife at just before 11am.

The injured Ramsgate man was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, with injuries to his head, chest, arm and shoulder.

A 39-year-old Ramsgate man was arrested over the incident and remanded in custody, where he remains today.

Kent air ambulance crews attended, but the man was taken to hospital by road.
