Witnesses sought after motorcyclist killed in crash in St Augustine's Road in Ramsgate

Witnesses are today being sought after a man died in a motorbike crash in Ramsgate.

The victim, 41, was killed when he hit several parked cars in St Augustine's Road at just after 5pm yesterday.

A police spokesman said nobody else was thought to be involved in the crash.

Officers closed the road while paramedics tried to save the motorcyclist, but he died at the scene.

Witness John Hall said: "I got there just after the crash and the biker was lying on the road, not moving. People were already talking to him."

Serious collision investigators have been examining the scene.

Officers have spoken to several witnesses, but are asking more to phone 01622 798538, quoting reference 19-1132.
