An investigation into what caused a huge fire at a disused pub in Margate is ongoing, with police saying it's possibly arson.
Firefighters and officers were called to the The Holly Tree pub in Holly Lane at 8.40am on Sunday.
The blaze which began in the roof ripped through the building prompting road closures to be enforced and a warning to nearby residents to close all doors and windows.
The emergency services didn't leave the scene until after 9pm.
A spokesman said: "Road closures were put in place on several junctions and remained in place until 9.25pm while the incident was dealt with.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing."
A police spokesman said today: "The cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious and officers are continuing to enquire into the circumstances."
