A teenager has been arrested following a report of a distraction burglary.
It was reported between noon and 6.50pm on Tuesday that two people approached and spoke to the victim, a woman in her 60s, through the window of her home in Warwick Road, Cliftonville.
The victim then noticed a person in the property and confronted them.
She later realised money was missing from her handbag.
A 17-year-old boy from Margate was arrested on suspicion of burglary yesterday.
The boy was released on bail until Tuesday, August 22 while enquiries continue.
