Margate: Two arrested on suspicion of drug offences in King Street

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Margate.

Police on patrol stopped two people seen leaving a property in King Street during the evening of Saturday, December 30.

Officers recovered cannabis, a substance believed to be cocaine and also cash and mobile phones.

A 20-year-old man from Romford was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis and possessing criminal property.

A homeless 20 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying a class A drug, possessing criminal property, and obstructing a police officer.

They have both been released on police bail until Friday, January 19 pending further enquiries.
