Ramsgate woman arrested after attack on teenage girl outside St George's school, Broadstairs

Shocking footage has emerged of a girl in school uniform apparently being punched and kicked in the head in a brutal attack.

The teenage girl suffered bruising and a broken tooth in the incident, which is believed to have happened outside St George's school, Broadstairs.

Police arrested an 18-year-old woman from Ramsgate in connection with the incident, who has since been released on bail until June 9.

The video which was posted on Facebook has since been viewed more than 120,000 times and has been met with outrage.

Paige Lehan said: "Cannot believe how disgusting girls are nowadays it sickens me it really does and although videoing it is vile as well at least there is evidence to take to the police."

Michelle Symons said: "That bully deserve some of her own medicine, loud mouth chav.

"The video should be shown to the police if the school isn't doing anything about the girl, I expect her parents are just as bad as her."

Kent Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Police are investigating a report of an incident which occurred at around 2.30pm on April 29 in Westwood Road, Broadstairs in which a teenage schoolgirl was assaulted.

"She sustained bruising and a broken tooth."

The school has declined to comment.
