It’s a busy festive season for members of Margate’s Vox Pop youth choir.

The group from Hartsdown Academy is performing as part of the town’s centrepiece Christmas programme on Friday, December 6.

The students will sing a range of upbeat pop songs, traditional festive songs and carols in the Market Place outside the mayor’s parlour from 4.30pm.

The full programme for the Margate event in and around the town during the afternoon and evening also includes a festive market, girl singing duo In Demand, the Monster High Show, singer Gary Kennedy; vocalist Carol Anne Rogers, Thanet Choir, and soul funk band Funky McJunk.

For more information visit Margate Town team’s website on www.margatetownteam.org or call in to Pop-up Margate, 98-102 High Street, Margate.
