Pensioner, 87, hurt in robbery on Dane Court Road in Broadstairs

An 87-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and robbed in Broadstairs on Saturday.
It is thought the elderly woman was walking along the footpath in Dane Court Road at about 12.30pm when a man ran past and pushed her.
She fell to the ground, and was injured and bruised in the fall.

She later noticed some items were missing from her handbag including her purse, which contained some cash and earrings, as well as her keys.
She was treated by ambulance crews at the scene before being taken to hospital.
