Woman rescued after Ramsgate Harbour plunge

A woman has been rescued after falling into Ramsgate Harbour early today.

The woman, in her 40s, fell around 15ft from the harbour wall, in Harbour Parade.

Coastguard crews said she was treated after landing on decking at around 3am.

The woman was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, for treatment for back and shoulder pain.

South East Coast Ambulance Service said two ambulances had been called to the scene.
