A woman in her 50s has been found dead at a home following a call to police about concerns for her welfare.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to Millmead Road, Margate, at 11.21am on Tuesday 26 September 2017 following concerns for the welfare of a woman.

"Officers and SECAmb attended and a woman in her 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Her death is not being treated as suspicious and officers will prepare a report for the coroner."
