Margate manager Steve Watt has increased his attacking options at Hartsdown by signing Orlando Smith from Bostik Premier rivals Met Police.

The 29-year-old right winger arrives at Margate having played for a host of other clubs including Bromley, Aveley, Farnborough and Maidstone United.

Watts brought in full-back Tom Mills from Maidstone on Friday and then added midfielder Lee Prescott from Cray Wanderers a day later.

There was further news on Monday when the club confirmed that full-back Chris Sessegnon had signed a one-year contract extension.

The 23-year-old signed for the Blues last September and was voted Supporters' Player-of-the-Year as the Gate suffered relegation from Vanarama National League South.

The Blues are due to start their pre-season campaign away to Deal on Saturday, July 8, kick-off 1pm.
