Margate defender Adam Cash has joined Ryman League Premier Division side Leatherhead on a short term loan.

The loan deal is Cash's second this season having previously spent a month with Met Police who ironically are Leatherhead's opponents on Saturday.

Cash, the son of Gate assistant manager Stuart Cash, has previously played at Wealdstone, Windsor & Eton, Hayes & Yeading and Harrow Borough who he joined Gate from in March 2014.

The 20-year-old's latest loan deal follows the recent departure of striker Ryan Moss who joined Ryman League Premier Division leaders Dulwich Hamlet.

Gate boss Terry Browns remains keen to bring in a couple of loan signings himself but time is running out for him to do so before Saturday's Vanarama National League South game away to Hemel Hempstead.

The Gate will go into the match lying 19th.
