Margate will again host Championship giants Wolverhampton Wanderers in pre-season fixture.

Terry Brown's side will welcome the Wolves Under-21 team to Hartsdown Park on Saturday August 1, with a 1pm kick off .

It will be the second time in two years that Wolves have sent a side to Hartsdown Park thanks to the close link formed since Bob Laslett’s take over at Margate. Mr Laslett is a former director of the Molineux outfit.

Wolves sent an Academy team to Hartsdown last summer when the Gate ran out 5-1 winners in front of over 1200 fans.

The Wolves side that evening included defender Dominic Iorfa, who finished the season in Kenny Jackett's first team.

Gate will also travel to Biggleswade Town of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League on Saturday, July 18. The fixture at The Carlsberg Stadium will kick off at 1.30pm.
