Worthing 2 Ramsgate 2
Comments |

Ramsgate were denied a fine win at
Ryman League Division 1 South title-chasers Worthing by a last-gasp
equaliser on Saturday.
The hosts had the better of the first
half and went in 1-0 up at the break as Sam Mott's clearance
rebounded to Ben Williamson to slot home.
The Rams responded after
the interval with skipper Warren Schulz levelling on 49
minutes and then giving the visitors the lead 10 minutes later.
The Rebels were reduced to 10 men
after Ben Woodburn received his second caution, but a physical
encounter was ended with Jamie Brotherton slotting home a penalty a
minute from time to earn the hosts a share of the points.
Rams lie 12th but are only four
points off the top seven with games in hand on the sides above
them.
