Ramsgate are now 11 games without a win in Ryman League Division
1 South after a 3-1 defeat at Leatherhead on Saturday.
Jim Ward's side had drawn five of their previous six games, but
fell to 14th and will have the prospect of being dragged into a
relegation battle at the back of their minds as second-bottom
Ashford now lie 15 points behind them, but with three games in
hand.
The Rams took the lead 10 minutes after half-time when Joe
Taylor headed-in a flick-on, but the lead only lasted 10 minutes
and the Tanners went ahead on 77 minutes and sealed the points with
a third two minutes from time.
