It's great to be part of a community and that's just what the
Johnny Lewis shows during the week and on Saturdays have
become.
Regular callers and new listeners are telling me how much they
like the music, the news and information, the travel updates and
the chat.
It is gratifying to know that you do have a strong and regular
listenership because it shows the importance of the interaction
between myself and the gang here and those of you listening at
home, at work, in your cars or wherever.
One of the best moments for me is when we suddenly throw an idea
out on air - such as which children's programme from yesteryear
would you like to see back on television - and we get an instant
and usually very big reaction.
It's like chatting with a whole host of mates via the microphone
- and that's why we reckon we have something really special on the
breakfast shows throughout the week and on Saturdays when we also
take a look at the weekend's events around Thanet.
And you are always welcome to have your say, so please keep in
touch and let me know if there are any events coming up in the next
few months that you want to have publicised - and I will do my
best.
In the meantime, keep listening for ways to win a copy of Ben
Mills' latest album. I have heard some sneaky previews and it's a
real cracker.
