Sheppey's weather oracle says there could be more cold to come

Sheppey's weather oracle says we
could be in for yet another cold spell next week.
Darren Prescott, who monitors the
weather from his home in Bay View, said there is a good chance of a
significant cold spell because of the high pressure building in the
north.
The 30-year-old said a jet stream
which is heading south means we could up with cold and snowy
weather again.
He said: "The deep area of cold over
Scandinavia will be pulled towards us and as it crosses the North
Sea it will undoubtedly bring snow and a fair bit too."
He added that the cold air will arrive
on Tuesday and from then on it looks like it will be very cold for
at least a few days, with snow at times.
But don't panic yet - Mr Prescott
said the weather has been very changeable recently and
anything could happen over the next few days.
