Man held after rape allegation

Police are investigating the suspected rape of an
18-year-old woman in Sheerness.
It is believed the woman was attacked in an alleyway
between Alexandra Road and Clyde Street just after 12.30am on
Tuesday.
A spokesman for Kent Police said a 20-year-old man has been
arrested and was helping police with their enquiries.
Anyone who has any information about the incident is urged to
contact acting
