A warning has been issued to beach-goers after asbestos cement was washed ashore in Minster on the Isle of Sheppey.
Temporary signs have been put up at The Leas advising members of the public of the potential hazard.
Chunks of the material have been taken away by Swale Borough Council and more checks will be carried out.

Cllr David Simmons, cabinet Member for the environment, said: "Tests have been carried out and it has been established the material is chrysotile asbestos, asbestos cement.
"We have consulted with Public Health England who have advised that this is a lower risk product and unlikely to pose a significant risk to health.
"However we do not want anyone to take any unnecessary risk and ask that members of the public avoid any suspicious material they may find on the beach."
A council spokesman said regular checks will be carried out until the authority is satisfied there is no further need and any more material found will be removed safely.
Anyone with any queries can phone Swale Borough Council on 01795 417850.
