A disabled Sheppey mother forced to clean dog poo from the wheels of her mobility scooter with a toothbrush has slammed lazy pet owners... with a huge sign.
Kathy Bowyer said there has been a problem with mess since she moved to Marina Drive, Minster, almost a year ago.
The 47-year-old took the dramatic step of covering her car in a large piece of white paper and writing a warning sign to dog walkers.
The huge note Kathy Bowyer put on her car to try to stop the problem of dog fouling
She described the road as a "minefield" and said she has watched people let their animals do their business outside her property before walking off.
Her hand-written sign read: "Polite notice: I now know who you are!!!
"You let your dog mess in front of my property, and do not clean up after it.
"It's a drain on resources we don't have and it's just people being lazy and inconsiderate..." - Kathy Bowyer
"I am going to report you as enough is enough!!! YOU may like to live in mess, well I don't!!
"I you need a bag, please knock - I have plenty."
Although Mrs Bowyer has reported it to Swale council, it is frustrating her that others must be doing the same because calls are not always answered.
The mother-of-one said: "How many people are ringing up the council to get pavements cleaned? It's a drain on resources we don't have and it's just people being lazy and inconsiderate.
"I have had to clean it off the wheels of my wheelie bin as that went through it and I had to take a toothbrush to my mobility scooter to clean the wheels of dog poo.
"There's blobs of it all outside my property."
A Minster woman took action about the problem of dog mess
Mrs Bowyer is also concerned about youngsters stepping in mess on their way to Elliott Park School just up the road.
Those caught allowing their dogs to foul the streets could be fined or prosecuted.
