Elderly pair hurt as car overturns near Ship On Shore pub in Marine Parade in Sheerness
An elderly couple have been injured after a car overturned in a crash in Sheerness.
The blue Suzuki Ignis flipped over in Marine Parade, near the Ship On Shore pub, at just after 8pm on Wednesday.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said crews freed an elderly man, who was trapped in the car following a smash with another vehicle.

A spokesman said an elderly woman had got out before crews arrived. The pair were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers attended Marine Parade after it was reported a blue Suzuki Ignis was in collision with a red Mini Cooper.
"The Suzuki is believed to have flipped onto its roof and the driver and passenger, an elderly couple from Minster, were taken to a hospital in Medway.
"The man is reported to have suffered chest pains and the woman had back pains and a sore collar bone and ribs.
"The road was fully reopened by 9.35pm."
A spokesman said no arrests have been made.
The road was closed while emergency services - including police and two South East Coast Ambulance Service ambulances - were at the scene.
Two fire engines left Marine Parade after around 30 minutes.
