Appeal for witnesses after M20 lorry and motorbike crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash between a lorry and a motorbike on the M20.

Officers were

called to the London-bound carriageway, between junctions 2 and 1, at 3.16pm yesterday

. It happened in lane one, near Wrotham Hill.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The lorry driver was uninjured.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the blue Honda Transalp 650cc motorbike and white Iveco 420 lorry colliding or travelling in the moments leading up to the crash.
