Food, music, dancing, artistry and fun at Penshurst Place craft fair

Crowds of people are attending a three-day craft fair being held at Penshurst Place over the Bank Holiday weekend.

There's a chance to visit a special Tempus Fugit garden at The Weald of Kent Craft and Design Show, to listen to live music from girl-band The Haywood Sisters, or dance to the acoustic duo Crooked Style.

There's also a host of stalls selling traditional British crafts and tempting hand-made foods and a number of practical demonstrations: wattle hurdle-making by Peter Lane, basket-making by Owen Jones, the art of the blacksmith by Michael Hart and wood-turning by Steve Clarke.

Children especially seem to enjoy the Birds and Beasts display.

The fair continues today (Sunday) and tomorrow and is open from 10am to 5pm. Entry is £10 for adults.
