Roadside dead deer cleared after complaint

A dead deer which was mistaken for a kangaroo by a father has been cleared from the A21 after two days.

Mark St. George caught a glance of the body on an entry slip for the Sevenoaks bound A21 yesterday.

He said: "When I drove past I didn't get a proper look, I thought it might be a kangaroo.

"I told my son and he said don't be silly. We went past yesterday and I realised what it was, then we saw it again this morning.

"When I rung KCC they told there had been a complaint two days ago.

"It's quite dangerous as I slowed down when I saw it, but its a place most people speed up."
